ResolvedAt 10:13 this morning we started seeing unusual traffic patterns to the service, causing long load times and unresponsive sites and players. Over time the traffic turned out to be high, sustained but unmalicious traffic coming from a specific video player. We initially routed all such traffic away from the service to bring response times back to normal and afterwards took measures to resolve the issue long-term. The service was affected for a total of 18 minutes and within this time there were intervals where the entire core service was unavailable.
